LPICM is a CNRS-Ecole polytechnique joint research unit (UMR 7647) gathering about 100 people working in four main groups: i) nanostructured materials for PV applications, ii) large area electronics, iii) nanomaterials and nanodevices group and iv) instrumentation in optics group. CNRS-LPICM has a wide experience on plasma deposition of silicon thin films as well as in-situ growth studies by using complementary techniques: UV-visible ellipsometry, Kelvin probe and time resolved microwave conductivity.
