The addressing OLED Flat Panel Displays needs TFT's made on microcrystalline silicon. Ideed TFT's with relatively good electron mobilities but most of all with stable transfer characteristics.

The utilization of these new components and the optimization of their use in the display needs an important work of concept circuit design. This work concerns prediction and extraction of static and dynamic characteristics of the TFT and OLED with SPICE. This work is done in collaboration with ITODYS, GPS, IMN/LPCM, IETR under a STIC-CNRS project (RTP30). Thanks to this work we have obtained original circuit strucutres for the addressing of OLED displays and which have been the object of a CNRS patent submission.

This work is part of a the European project FP6/2003/IST/2 'Flexidis', on Flexible Flat Panel Displays, deposited last October 15, 2003.
