Laboratory of Physics of Interfaces and Thin Films

This is group was originated from the Semiconductors Thin Films Group, in an attempt to begin an activity more centred on the devices itself. It is the consequence of several facts :

• The recruitment of researchers with a large knowledge in the domain on Flat Panel Displays and Large Area Electronics.
• The good performances of our solar cells and Thin Film Transistors, in good position to answer the demands of the Industry of the field .
• The construction of a clean room on Campus, together
  with Thales and Iota (January 2005), which should allow us to produce the devices with our own means.
